If you love the show ring or want to give it a try, then the information on this page is just for you.

Keep in mind, that it's okay if showing is not your thing - you are part of our team,  and we welcome you (we expect you) to come along and cheer on the show riders!

schooling and fun shows are the perfect way to practice newly learned skills, get the jitters out, or to warm-up for the show season. Schooling shows are geared towards inexperienced riders, horses or both!

provincial is the category of Equine Canada Recognized Shows. These shows have youth, amateur and open divisions.

This is the division where riders climb the levels to confirm their understanding and training of the pyramid of dressage.

Judging is based on preset criteria, and the judges do their best to support riders while maintaining contest standards.

National Shows are similar to, and can be identical to a Provincial show, depending on their location,  with the larger cities offering additional classes, higher caliber competition,  and top ranked judges.

Riders attend these shows to gain the necessary experience and scores to qualify for teams and/or to attend national championships.

Judging in these shows is strictly by the book.

International Shows run similar to national shows, but are in much larger venues providing ample opportunity for riders to gain experience against elite competitors while performing  for internationally qualified judges. 

This level has added rules and regulations to maintain fair play, integrity and consideration for the horses and riders in the international dressage court.
